Today’s “Note to Self” (Keep It Fresh)

“Try, learn, read or do something different today. Experiencing Life in new ways keeps Me young and well-versed at “going with the flow.”

Still waters run deep…but it takes a steady influx of fresh water to keep things from getting stagnant…So Mother Nature, bring on the rains and hear Me sing!”

    • Jane Fonda just recently said on Oprah that “we should keep growing up till the day we die…stay interested…stay curious”. I like her. Even doing something as simple as brushing your teeth with your left hand, when you right-handed, is considered “different” enough to stimulate your brain. That seems easy enough, though not as thrilling as some other choices…bungy jumping anyone?

My cousin does sudoko with her left hand to stimulate her brain because she is right handed. Maybe if I start brushing with my left hand I can work up to writing with it 🙂

        • Wow Lynn, your cousin is doubly impressive! Unfortuneately I’m not in to Sudoku or crosswords…but I do have to brush my teeth. 🙂 I do have an unusual skill of writing upside down, and backwards, in cursive…but only with my right hand. Either way, maybe I should practice more.
