“Energy Rules, But Matter Matters”

This is a quote by my friend and colleague of Energy Medicine, Dr. Stephanie Evans.  This catchy phrase of hers is meant to remind us that Energy is the blueprint, the essence of Matter, of every thing and every body in this Universe.

Dr. Stone, the founder of Polarity Therapy always said, “As above, so below,” but it also works the other way around, “As below, so above.”  This means that the Energy flows in both directions, from the subtle (spirit) to the gross (matter), and vice-versa. In other words, what we are thinking or experiencing spiritually/psychologically does indeed effect our physical body, and how/what our physical body is experiencing definitely has an impact on our psychological state.

This seems obvious, but it is amazing to me how many people do not recognize this correlation, or even make a connection when it is happening…For instance, you start to get stressed on the psychological level, and all of a sudden you start itching, or getting a headache.  Over time, chronic psychological stress, on a conscious or un-conscious level, weakens the immune system, pulling energy from the energetic Poles, making one more suseptible to diseases such as cancer…Or, say you simply eat a fatty lunch, which destabilizes your energies on the biochemical level and all of a sudden you might find yourself feeling angry or on edge…which in turn causes you stress.  Feedback Happens.  The more it happens, the “denser” the energy gets.

Just some serious food for thought. 🙂

    And some thought for food! Interesting that this has cropped up a few times for me recently. Hmmmm.


    • Hmmm Souldipper, to you right now I would say for you, “More protein and more alkaline (fruits/veg). Less carbs, less fat.”
      (ps I haven’t had time to read your last 10 or so Posts…but looks like I have some good stories waiting for me!
