That Cagey ID: What’s Lurking in Your Shadow?

Oh my id, what an ID you have. Lol. (They’re not so unrelated. Was that on purpose, Dr. Freud?).

Art imitates life.  It was three weeks ago when this shot caught my eye. I’m finally reflecting on my own question and interestingly enough, it suits the photo:

“What is lurking in my cagey Unconscious?…Feelings of breached boundaries, feeling trapped and wanting to escape…that’s what”.

These old emotions have been long buried, wrecking havoc, now rising up and out, slow by slow…Yet another step on the transformative healing journey…a journey we are all on, one way or another. It’s called ‘being human’.

Fantastic photo! Love the texture contrasts, proportions, composition. Thoughtful musings, too.

    • Cynthie how exciting!!!!! You are my very first comment, how momentus! Thank you for giving me something real to practice with. Took me awhile to find it and what to do with it. I’m gonna keep trying! Hope this reply will get to you!

Thanks for the nice comment. I found, for the time being, it is SUPER easy to make a post to the blog from my phone, including photos! Although they are huge, I don’t quite mind. I still need to find out if there’s a better way for me to do links, where do they go? No list like on FB?

A follow-up to my wee hours email. Took a look at your tags and you may want to consider filling them out into search phrases as I suggested there. For instance: ‘photos’ (which is much too generic and competes with millions of folks using the term) should definitely be ‘maggie begley’s photos.’

    • Hi Cynthe,
Thank you for the help. I was thinking of tags & categories as something I would use to filter & find my previous posts – hard for me to visualize a cyberworld bigger than that at the moment, but I’m getting there! I will rethink, investigate what others are doing, & continue to learn, learn, learn, perfect, perfect, perfect! :0)
